it's been a while....

2 days in the making for this one entry...im trying to catch up on almost 4 months here! so sorry its crazy long! i understand if you only look at pictures...i dont plan on writing much! pictures tell more than words right?! enjoy!

July 2011 Jones Reunion!

 Four generations!!

i was flying solo (with beck). matt couldnt come because of work and his family reunion was 2 weeks later 

im sure he planned it that way so he could get out of being with my crazy family! ha

Matt didnt come and Dad had work as well and was stuck in his cave talking with japan or switzerland or something...

Alex got home from his mission and met beck for the first time!

ROBINSON REUNION!

We went camping on Whidby Island in Seattle for the reunion. it was so much fun!! the adults stayed up to play board games one night and thought we were going to get beat up by some old man neighbor for being too loud. no warning no nothing just his trembeling scream to wake everyone else up who couldnt hear us. camping adventures!

Beck's cousin Luke filled up the tank a little better! ha these kids are going to be awesome cousins! they gotta team up against the twins!! haha

the tide on this beach rolled in so fast we saw the boats, which were on dry sand, go afloat! neat

too bad i dont have landons face! he wasnt too happy with the covering the body with sand part. the hole idea was fun just not the idea of being stuck! ha!

Still at the reunion we went to a mariners game and Beck got his first Mariners shirt and wore it proudly! he just wasnt a fan of all the cheering or the crazy hot sun!

Beck turned 5 month shortly after we moved into Nana and Papa's house in North Odgen while Matt gets his Masters in Accounting at Weber State.

5 months and getting so freaking big! i love my little man!

First haircut! at this moment i really felt hair school payed off! A little proud! but sad also to cut off becks dark locks! he is going to be a toe-head in the next couple weeks! seriously instant blondy!

Chelsea's 23rd Birthday!  

Mom made an amazing surprise visit and made me my favorite angel food cake! YUM+EEEE

and matt is always so amazing and giving gifts! i wanted this poloroid so bad but barely ever mentioned it! he is perfect! best birthday! mom surprised me, babysat beck, and matt took me on such a beautiful and unforgetable date! I truly am in love..and 23! happy birthday to me!

it's been over a month and i appologize. life has bee busy..but soon i will be back to post updates on our Robinson and Beckman reunions, our moving situation, my new job, his new job and school as well as our talking 5 month old! haha

He's HOME

That's right alex....or more commenly known as Elder Beckman, has returned home today!! 

He has served a great mission in Richmond, Virginia! and is now returning to his new home in Spokane, Washington!!

Welcome home Little BroVer!! we missed you and are so glad you are home safe!

I'm so glad when daddy comes home..

yesterday was fathers day..Matt's first! Even though he is only 3 months new to the game i know he is a natural dad!! i feel so lucky to have him as my husband and the father of our child..and future kids to come!

he must have learned from the best!

My Dad has taught me so much throughout my life and still working on giving me more!

i could go on for hours and lists and lists about al the things that make my dad amazing! all you have to know is he loves his family and nothing matters more!! I love you dad! thanks for shaping me into the person i am today!

on other news...Beckman is 3 MONTHS OLD!! he is getting so big and so fun!

Now Matt isn't some huge gamer...he doesn't stay up till 5 in the morning just playing games. It usually is just something to do while im out of the house or as a cool down from a tough day at work!

I saw this somewhere and really wanted to attemipt it! i think it turned out pretty good! just dont look too close! i used a stencil then painted by hand so its not crazy clean. i will add this to Becks Picture wall in his room! maybe ill post a picture after beck wakes up so i can take one!

Smiles

Oh my gosh i seriously cant get enough of this kid!

Beckman is such a happy baby except for when he is tired then he turns into his mama!! haha he slept for 8 hours last night and was all smiles this morning! even though we all slept like logs i have to admit i am still tired. Not as much as i was a month ago but i am also not a morning person so i need to work on that! but waking up to Beck's beautiful heartmelting smiles wakes me up and i dont want to stop playing with him!

Moab for the Day

Matt was able to get either Friday or Monday off for Memorial Weekend and he chose friday. So we took a quick trip down to Arches National Park for some hiking and some sun! It will be aparent soon enough how much sun we have gotten lately! Im pretty ghostly! not to mention Beck is transparent! ha!

It is really incredible how these little caves are created from wind and water! this place was amazing! i cant believe i had never been here before!

haha little peeper! Beck did so good on the trip! everytime we got back into the car he would fuss a little and then be perfectly content when we were outside and walking around! i think he is going to be a very outdoorsy kind of a guy!

we are working on our photography skills but i must say im a little impressed with this last one! it could be my self portrait! haha not really since im not a photographer..but if you think about it anyone could be a photographer with how many pictures are taken all the time! yeah sure its my self portrait! ha

Anywho we had a blast hiking around and we are looking forward to our next adventure! if anyone wants to plan a trip we are all for it!!

One Month Older

When Beck was born we decided to take a picture once a month till he is one year old to watch his growth! The Sox monkey was the perfect measuring tape! He is growing so fast...and yet he is still so tiny!

He also had his 2 Month check up and shots! oh man it was a sad day! The shots really weren't the hard part it was once we got home and he just felt yucky! Beck is such the trooper though! He still was smiling and talking to me. I love this kid...he is such a tough little man!

Inspired work

So ive been craving to do some big project for around the house so I've been checking out all these DIY sites and scrolled upon this thing!

They are an Anthropologie inspired bedside table.

I really want to make these so bad! but since we eventually plan on getting a house (who knows when that will be) i want to decorate it depending on the style of the house. Really it all comes down to me not wanting to pack these up and move them to where ever we end up. Aren't they super cute though? i would totally style them up with a more popping color for the knobs.

I want some kind of project to do and I'm thinking this is more practical!

meet and greet!

 One of Matt's really good friends had a baby 10 days before Beck was born. And its crazy how similar they are...or atleast their parents are. We have the same car seat just different colors, the same diaper bag just a slight different style, they were both in blue outfits (plaids and stripes) and they were both blessed on the same day! They are ment to be friends! When i showed Matt this picture he said it was a flash back to him and Brett Hodson! This picture just cracks me up! It looks like Henry is telling Beck that everything will be alright. then beck has a grip on Henry's arm! hahah its just so cute!!

It was great to meet Henry finally and chat with Lisa! I really hope we can move up there somewhere..someday! Our boys are just ment to be friends!

Some new news...Beck is finally smiling!! and it really is just heart melting!

He will also try to talk to you but its just so gentle and precious! it sounds a little like "ahhguoohh..ahhgouhh"

I am so blessed to have this beautiful kid in my life!

oh and last night he slept through the night again! this time we let him cry himself back to sleep instead of feeding him around 3 then back to bed! and suprisingly he has been sleeping most of the day today! you think he would be super rested and not tired! i dont like when he sleeps so much because then i cant play with him and i cant get him to smile! I just want to keep him up all the time! lets hope he will sleep through the night again! cross your fingers! im not too worried cus this kid loves his sleep!
